I. viceprezident PAS zastupuje v plnom rozsahu prezidenta PAS v prípade jeho neprítomnosti, odstúpenia alebo odvolania. Po dohode s prezidentom PAS, môže na seba prevziať, v jednotlivých prípadoch, prezidentom delegované práva a povinnosti. I. viceprezident je volený na obdobie dvoch rokov.

The Vice-president fully acts as a deputy of the BAS President in case of his absence, resignation or removal. After agreement with the BAS President, he can, in specific cases, assume rights and responsibilities delegated by the President. The Vice-president is elected for a two-year period.
